A Silicon Valley benefits administration firm is hiring HR Administrators to work remotely now and eventually out of their Roseville office. The company helps employers manage leaves of absence and short-term disability requests. The Administrators work directly with the employees, guiding them through their rights to time off, ensuring that they are paid and take all eligible time off. Thanks to the services this company provides parents can take more time off for maternity/paternity leave, family members can care for sick relatives and employees can take time off to recover from an illness.
Job Duties involve:

  • Administering leaves of absence for multiple clients, following all Federal and State laws

  • Documenting all communications

  • Advising on leave entitlement, client policies and benefits, payroll and return-to-work accommodations

The ideal candidate is someone who has a love of learning. This is a complicated niche in HR and ongoing training is needed to keep up with compliance changes. Excellent communication skills, empathy, professionalism and a genuine need to assist people is called for. Upon hire you will be back in the virtual classroom then assigned to a trainer and mentor. A four-year college degree or a professional certification in a related field preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
The company offers a base salary around $47K, with full benefits, 401K matching, flexible schedule, generous time off and further education sponsorship.
